Every couple months, the Therianthrope & Otherkin Book Club will be be selecting one book from the Otherkin and Therianthrope Book List to read, review, and discuss together.
All our selected books have themes related to, about, or helpful for otherkin, therianthropes, animal totemists, starpeople, etcetera. Members needn't be therianthropes or otherkin themselves, although people unfamiliar with those concepts may not get the purpose of the community.
My aim is to select books that all or most of us can relate to on a personal level. However, some selected books may relate to a particular species or spirituality that makes them hard to relate to for certain readers.
Feel free to continue discussions in old threads or make posts about a book that was selected a few months ago. Just because it's old doesn't mean it should stop.
Required reading: book club rules, tips about how to get more out of the books you read, and advice on how to write your reviews and hold fulfilling book discussions.Non-required reading: a list of Livejournal communities that have themes in common with this book club.
