By the way: membership, posting, and commenting are now all open on
t_o_book_club. Have a ball. Go wild and discuss whatever's on your mind about these books.
Out of the 38 to 45 people who are in (or watching) this community, only 6 voted in the poll for choosing the next book. What's the deal with that?
If you didn't think any of the suggested books were interesting enough, you could suggest some different ones from the book list-- I just selected those four because I figured they would be relatively easy to find and have more than a chapter's worth of on-topic stuff in them.

From Elsewhere: Being ET in America
Totem Magic: Dance of the Shapeshifter
Bookmooch.com: I suppose; I haven't looked into that.
Borrow from a friend: I don't know anyone who owns these books.
Library: ...I had simply assumed that my local library didn't have any of these, because their metaphysical collection is historically very poor, and while some library somewhere would certainly have them that cross-country ILL is a bit cumbersome; but apparently they do have Totem Magic (it's in the catalog anyway - whether it's actually on the shelf and not stolen, as such books commonly are, is another matter). So since the poll appears to be closed to further voting, I'll just state my vote for Totem Magic here.
